Honda CD 70 and CG 125 on Installments in 2026: What You Will Really Pay

CD 70, CD 70 Dream, CG 125 and CG 125S on installments: monthly payments for 12, 24 and 36 months, and how much more you pay than the cash price.

It is probably the most common question about bikes in Pakistan. “CD 70 qiston pe kitne ki parti hai?” It is a fair thing to ask, but the answer you usually get at a showroom is just one number: the monthly payment. On its own, that number hides a lot.

So we sat down with our Bike Loan Calculator and worked out the full picture for Honda’s four most popular bikes. What you pay upfront, what you pay every month, and how much more the bike costs you in the end compared with paying cash.

The prices and rates we used

We used these ex factory prices from our September 2026 rate sheet: the CD 70 at Rs 159,900, the CD 70 Dream at Rs 168,900, the CG 125 at Rs 226,500 and the CG 125S at Rs 271,900. Your dealer may quote a little more once registration and number plates are added, so always ask for the final on road price before you sign anything.

We assumed a 20 percent down payment, because that is what most lenders ask for on a bike, and a profit rate of 17.5 percent a year. That is roughly where Bank of Punjab, Meezan Bank and Bank Alfalah sit at the moment.

Monthly installments at a glance

BikeCash priceDown payment (20%)12 months24 months36 months
Honda CD 70Rs 159,900Rs 31,980Rs 11,697Rs 6,355Rs 4,593
Honda CD 70 DreamRs 168,900Rs 33,780Rs 12,356Rs 6,713Rs 4,851
Honda CG 125Rs 226,500Rs 45,300Rs 16,569Rs 9,003Rs 6,505
Honda CG 125SRs 271,900Rs 54,380Rs 19,891Rs 10,807Rs 7,809

Most people look at the 36 month column and feel relieved. Rs 4,593 a month for a brand new CD 70 sounds easy. But stretching the payments out is exactly where the extra cost hides, which brings us to the table that matters more.

How much extra you pay compared with cash

This table adds your down payment to every installment you will make. In other words, it is what the bike actually costs you by the time it is fully yours.

BikeCash priceTotal over 12 monthsTotal over 24 monthsTotal over 36 months
Honda CD 70Rs 159,900Rs 172,347Rs 184,510Rs 197,313
Honda CD 70 DreamRs 168,900Rs 182,048Rs 194,896Rs 208,419
Honda CG 125Rs 226,500Rs 244,132Rs 261,361Rs 279,496
Honda CG 125SRs 271,900Rs 293,066Rs 313,748Rs 335,519

On a one year plan, a CD 70 costs you about Rs 12,400 more than cash. On a three year plan, that gap grows to about Rs 37,400. For a CG 125S on three years, you are paying roughly Rs 63,600 on top of the price, which is close to a quarter of the bike’s value.

None of this means installments are a bad idea. For a lot of people the bike pays for itself in saved rickshaw fares within months. It just means the shorter plan you can comfortably manage, the better.

Bank or microfinance?

If you do not have a salary slip or a bank account with steady salary credits, a microfinance lender like Kashf Foundation may be easier to get approved by. They usually ask for less paperwork but want a guarantor, and the rate is higher. In our data Kashf sits at about 23.5 percent a year.

Here is what that difference looks like on a CD 70 over two years. With a bank at 17.5 percent the installment is Rs 6,355. With Kashf at 23.5 percent it is Rs 6,731. That is about Rs 376 more a month, or around Rs 9,000 extra over the full two years. If a bank will approve you, it is the cheaper route. If it will not, the microfinance option is still far better than borrowing from someone informally.

One time charges people forget

The down payment is not the only money you need on day one. Banks charge a processing fee, and the bike still has to be registered.

Bank of Punjab, for example, charges around 1.5 percent of the financed amount plus a flat Rs 2,000, which works out to roughly Rs 3,900 on a CD 70. Meezan Bank lists a flat Rs 2,500. Add registration and the number plate on top. Keep a buffer of a few thousand rupees beyond your down payment so nothing catches you off guard at the counter.

Which plan should you choose?

A simple rule that works well: keep your bike installment under about a quarter of what you earn each month. Our calculator flags anything above 25 percent for exactly this reason, because petrol, a tune up and the occasional puncture all come out of the same pocket.

Using that rule, a CD 70 on a two year plan (Rs 6,355 a month) sits comfortably with a monthly income of around Rs 25,500 or more. A CG 125 on two years (Rs 9,003) needs around Rs 36,000.

If you can handle the 12 or 24 month plan, take it. The three year plan is there for when the budget is genuinely tight, not as the default.

Five questions to ask before you sign

  • What is the final on road price, including registration and number plate?
  • Is the profit rate fixed for the whole plan, or can it change?
  • Is insurance or takaful included in the installment, or paid separately?
  • Is there a charge if I pay the loan off early?
  • Can I have the full repayment schedule in writing before I sign?
