The CD 70 rose 105% between September 2020 and 2026. The steepest climb came in 2022 and 2023, when the price went from Rs 111,500 to Rs 157,900 in just over a year.

The CG 125 rose about 75% from April 2021 to 2026.
Why Honda bike prices rose so much
- The rupee fell. Many parts and raw materials are imported and paid for in dollars. The rupee lost much of its value in 2022 and 2023, the same years with the biggest price jumps.
- Steel and material costs rose worldwide after 2021.
- Taxes. Sales tax and other levies on motorcycles increased in several budgets.
- Frequent revisions. Atlas Honda raised prices six times in 2023 alone (ProPakistani).
Since the rupee steadied in 2024, prices have barely moved: the CD 70 has stayed at Rs 159,900 since July 2025.
Is a CD 70 more or less affordable than before?
Compared with the minimum wage, the CD 70 is actually a little easier to buy today than in 2020.

That may be one reason motorcycle sales jumped 27.4% in September 2026 while car sales fell (TechJuice, PAMA data).
